How does the 110 hookup work in the 81 Vanagon? Can I run anything up to the amperage of the electrical circuit that I plug into the van? Basically I'm wondering if I can plug in a small space heater in addition to a fan, etc. Is there some sort of fuse or breaker in the van itself? Also, what is under the electrical plug near the floor on the drivers side by the small storage door? It says push on pull off but I think whatever you're supposed to push/pull is broke off. |

That's the breaker for the 110 outlet.
Keep in mind, all that only works when plugged into shore power. |

Thanks. I'll have to take it apart because it doesn't appear that you're able to push the breaker in so something must be broke off. |

buildyourown - if that breaker button has NOT popped out, you will not be able to push it in - it is already in.
Try a multimeter to test continuity through the breaker before dismantling unnecessarily. _________________ '88 VW Westfalia
