The pan is close to being complete. All of my rubber parts should be here this weekend (grommets, boots, torsion bushings, etc.) Trans has been blasted and painted. Backing plates too. Bolts all cleaned up and painted. Have all my brake stuff (rubber and hard lines too), but I'm not going to install the master/wheel cylinders until the body is done and mounted. Latest pics.....
4" BJ beam w/ towers from Sam Mannis, Autowerks Suspensions.
Mounted...
Trans blasted...
Painted.
Pedals blasted, painted along with torsion covers and plates.
Could this be a "rebuild date" on the transmission? It's stamped by the starter housing.

Tell me about it! I've been slack the last several months! I'm actually going to work on my pan this weekend. I have to send off my springplates to have them notched and lengthened, then I can mount my trans. I have to run brake lines and install my cables. I also plan on doing an access hole for the clutch cable similar to this....
I still plan to build a body dolly/rotisserie, which hopefully happens in the next few weeks, as the pan should be done. Then it's time to restart on the body. _________________ My '66 RHD Japanese bug build..which has stalled!
