Looking good Ken. That Rag Top is going to come handy once you get out this way. It's pretty warm here _________________ http://barndoormafia.skynetblogs.be/ |

Thanks Johnny. We are en route now. In Great falls Montana and hopefully in Salt lake tonight. Vegas Wednesday and LA thurs..... hopefully...
Some pics from the crazy last few weeks of the build.
Ragtop assembly
The first color for the ragtop, the lower one, was installed and replaced with the darker brown one. WCCR remade it very quickly, as I definitely chose the wrong color initially... was too orange
Jim, doing the stripes! Thanks again Jimbo!
A French guy emailed me a few months ago about his idea to come to Canada, and travel to the Classics with me and the crew from Canada. My answer, "of course, but you have to help the with the final assembly of the '52..."
Florian, the French guy, cutting the front floor mat.
And the rear cardboard panels.
And proudly crossing them of the list.
The engine, almost finished.
Tons of work was completed just in time to get going for the show.
The crew leaving the shop. Don't worry, we have two other VWs on the cruise.

Sadly, Trevor's smooth gate Single Cab won't be making the journey.
He plans to show it at the Great Canadian VW Show in Coquitlam this fall.
Traveling with Ken and Trevor are Fred - '72 Super and Keith in his Logo'd Single Cab.
Things are looking great for OCTO and The Classic this year.
See you there!!

I know it's just preference but I believe and I think most will agree that a std and a Kombi with a sunroof trump a deluxe any day... _________________ www.blastserv.com
