This bus has been sitting in a back yard for many years. I think ive tracked its owner down and am thinking about getting it. I know i cant save it from this condition, but maybe it would be good as parts?
The good side.
The not so good.
Inside is trashed.
Engine bay.

Cheap or free............a great candidate as a donor, some volks would love some of those parts and peices. It would be worth your effort to salvage and save for others for a fee. _________________ 56oval

If someone doesn't want to fix the rust, there is a crap load of good parts on it.
Probably a couple thousand dollars worth...

Based on the combination of engine lid latch and the rear hatch latch, it's a '66. |

It's a 1966 model.
Here's why:
It has the 66-67 deck lid pull handle but does not have a '67 gas door. _________________ How to: Post Photos | Search

If this does become a parts bus, there are bunch of things I would pay for today. All the matching locks and handles, would be the first on my list.
If you were to keep it, though its a lot of work, the bus looks really complete down to the bumpers. It's a walkthru deluxe too, which is nice.
Tough call. Let us know. _________________ Currently looking for: 66-67 OG paint Sea Blue L360 Apron - 2/3 Middle Seat Grab Handles for Aero/Steel |

| There was an article in the paper about that a couple years ago. Guess it belonged to a civil rights group. They said Jesse Jackson and some other people rode in it from the airport. |

The civil rights group and Jesse Jackson connections neither adds or subtracts any value unless something of consequence occurred involving the vehicle. _________________ How to: Post Photos | Search
