well i guess thursday nextweek is my quit date. i am starting chantix tomorrow. anyone taken it before? what should i expect?

Good for you.  Keep a positive attitude. If you want to eat ,eat and get fat. Weight is an easy task to get rid of. I know
My wife used chantix and "quit" for a year but went back to it. it has been over 20 years for me but I did it cold turkey. But to each thier own if it works for you.
Get a support group as it is the worst habit to quit but it is worth it in the long haul very worth it for health and money saved.  |

i did the cold turkey thing for 6 months last year and started back up like a dumbass. this time is going to before forever hopefully.
oh and cant do the whole eat and be fat thing. i am a type 2 diabetic.

My sister did Chantix - they will warn you that you may have really disturbing dreams. Well - I have to tell you - it really made her goofy for a couple months. And not a good goofy - scary goofy. She is OK now but it took months.
I was considering trying it, but after seeing what it did to her - no way. I still have to come up with "the right reason" myself......
