Watching Top Gear (American Version). Had Guest stars Rick Harrision and Chumley Russell of Pawn Stars. Rick Harrison revealed his first and favorite was a 1973 Thing.

my first car was a 74 Thing and I was telling the wife that if I was one of the hosts and they planed to wreck one I would quit then Rick said his first car was a 73'. I knew I liked him.

I prefer the memories of my first car better than I would enjoy "the" car. The memories do a lot of things the car could not. Like start often, not rust anymore, handle, collect girls.
