Vince (local guy) got a 4" beam with a completely new brake set up for his 66 bug.

Another local guy is coming in for a complete drop on his '74 camper as soon as there is an opening in the schedule.

After hours and when there is no customer jobs.

I have two drop jobs and an engine upgrade rebuild going on now too, along with some TLC work on Jeff's 15 window.

I get these from a Porsche "tuner" shop. They make them from ¼" all the way up to 5" to push the rear wheels out on wide body cars. No wide 5 stuff though.

Latest personal ride is this '64 Hardtop in Panama Beige with Brown cord interior.

As found:

The nice OG paint came back, and the interior and other related bits are coming together nicely as well.

Short term, get all the pieces back together and get started on the new interior.

Long term, running driving, electrical working, etc.

If it makes it that far and I still have it, the next step will be to lay it out and give it some character.

Plenty of work happening on the ex John Henry 11G as well.

http://lowbus.com/BB/index.php?topic=1060.60

After getting it back from a LONG stay in So Cal I got to detailing it and adding a bunch of my accessories. Still waiting on the Super 25hp engine to be finished so I can do the engine / trans swap.

Thanks Niggy... that thing was a trooper all weekend.

Hauled 4 (not s typo) of us to Nicks's
3 people and easily 2000 lbs of VW parts to OCTO and The Classic and now one hiccup.

New true freeway flyer trans does the trick for sure.

3.44 R&P with a .77 4th.
We were cruising 70mph - 75mph turning 2500 - 2800 rpm's
