| I had read on a european site a while ago that the etched version were a short run after the first batch of hearts were used up. Yes likely on a zwitter, but not the first ones. Checked Progressive refinements and it shows nothing of a change? |

I had always heard that the Hassia brand lenses were early also, of course Progressive Refinements often leaves more questions than answers, interesting that both the etched and moulded Hella lenses carry the "snake number" K1495, and the Hassia Lens has number K1512

| I have. November 4,1952 zwitter I bought in 1974. I never had any idea about the rear tail light round lens were zwitter only with the Hella logo etched in. After reading your thread, I had to check my lens. Sure enough I guess they are the original. They are glass hella. Thanks for the information. I never stop learning. |
