Hi,

I know that on the cabriolet's, there is usually a piece of black vinyl/going up the A pillar (up from the dashboard). Does anyone whether this would have been red vinyl on the '66 pigalle interior cars?

Thanks
Mike

They're not really the VW high back seats, are they?
Looks more like an accessory headrest added to the lowback VW seat.

While that's a pretty minor difference, it seems like a good way to add the safety of a head restraint while still maintaining the spirit of the lowback seat (at least IMO).

In a way, it's similar to the concept of improving the brake lights by adding LEDs behind the engine lid air intake louvers vs. replacing the '60 - '69 taillights with the larger '73 - '74 versions. Smile

Pigalles are so cool...you can get accessory head rests which aren't a bad 'safety' feature and also are removable.

Now does any one have an example of a Teak ghia and is it black too? Smile I'm just really hoping people can dig up more photos of teak ghias cause I've only seen a couple of photos of them!
