Ran into some issues with the time I had with the bug. The Hydraulic clutch is not compatible with the older style split bug pedal assembly as the clutch arm is too far into the tunnle to be able to link up with the shaft on the Hyd Master Cyl.
Anyone have a later bug pedal ASSY to trade? Roller pedal is a must!

Well, a roller pedal is not a must. Its more of a want. Ill take whatever to make it work for now. I can always upgrade!
Thanks in advance

Thanks!
Frank, the next step is to install Gerson heater channels as the ones in the car are for a later car. Then fix the front and rear apron and start the paint prep.
Just started a new job and its going to cut into my bug working time... Cant I just not have a job?
Im super excited for the next steps are challenging _________________ 58 Binz DC #151 "Nacho"

Nice work, Just want to give you an advise. The rubbers on the gearbox shafts are with the seam upright...I whould suggest you turn them 90° so the seam is horizontal. The axl is going up and down. This will push the seam together. While horzontal , it will only bend the seam. The original manual recommand this also. Otherwise, Your seam will break soon or later.
