Yep gr8cobbler, 8 track with slide in F/M radio.
My plan all along was to keep it in the 70's , but got a little carried away with the rearview. (SAFTEY)
Have a Great Day All,

Hard to believe I started this build thread one year ago.
Where did the time go ?
At least I have a good start for next spring.
Update..... Let there be light....
Lights all working, still need to clean up and wire dash and brake lights.
Even the horn and wipers work.
Have a Great Day !!!!!!

A couple more pictures.
Like I said, lost most of the frame building pics years ago.
But, I took a shot of Her bottom today.
No bolts and nuts hanging down here. (guess it's a good thing.she has no nuts)
And some of the stainless hardware, that I complained about.
Screws only, original back hinges were replated.
Have a Great Day,

OK Randy, now I'm confused.
You listed it as SOLD, on your web site.
You or the new buyer, putting it in the auction?
Have a GREAT Turkey Day,

HI BARRIST I THINK I CAN GIVE YOU ALOT OF HISTORY ON THIS CAR.I'M SURE THIS CAR HAS BEEN AROUND TOWN FOR MENY TEARS.SPRINGMAN MOTORS OWNED ONE EXACTLY LIKE YOURS.I REALLY THIK IT IS THE SAME CAR.SEVERAL PEOPLE I KNOW OWNED THROUGH THE YEARS AND THEN IT DISAPPEARED.THAT MAY BE WHEN YOU GOT IT.ALL THE OWNERS I KNOW OF WERE CAR DEALERS.AT ONE TIME IN ABOUT 1990 IT WAS A PERFECT CAR.THEN PEOPLLE STARTED IMPEOVING IT AND IT WENT DOWN HILL.

Look again at the auction link...it now shows it sold at $9,900 !
Im really confused! I sold the car in October, wont disclose the price but I will say it was quite a bit higher than the auction supposedly brought. I was watching the auction list like a hawk today and saw the first posted price of $17,600 and really felt bad for the guy...then a few hours later looked again and it shows $9,900 and now Im freaking out!!
One of the strangest things is that I had two friends that went to the auction and neither one could find the car anywhere. As I sit here tonight I am doubting that it even went through. Perhaps with all the Barris hype with the Batmobile , they pulled it aside? Maybe they gave it to George as a lovely thank you gift? I have no clue what is going on!!
It is going to be interesting to see how this works out. _________________ Cheers!
