Are now available through me. Contact me through the classified ads - general parts. Mods: if not allowed, please delete. Figured more people would be asking here than actually checking the classifieds section. |

I have one spare I can dig out. Here's one on my old car. Light green tint, blue sun band and the black ceramic surround:

I did, in the "general parts" section, but I wanted to have something here in the forum as I don't think most owners would look at the classifieds for parts. |

Are these something a guy can install himself? I am handy, have done numerous Bug windshields and windows over the decades. Someone like that? Trusting the install to a glass shop kind of scares me. I bet I have passed up 3 Sterlings over the years because of broken or missing windshields. Back then, pre internet times, a broken windshield was the kiss of death. This is great that you are supplying these.

Yes, absolutely. I've put in my windshields alone, but it's easier to handle with 2 people. Nothing really special about it.. adhesive, tape to hold in place and something to keep it front sliding down if necessary. |

The forum? It's back up, albeit in a somewhat trimmed fashion. I had a long talk with the owner at Carlisle and between us he promised to get it back up and running. |
