Hey folks. Once again I am heading down to Florida for Jan. thru Mar. If anyone is interested and into kayaking or just hanging in camp please get in touch. [email protected]. I will have a base in St. Pete but will cover the state from Ocala down to the Keys. I know the kayaking side of Fla. well and paddle places from beginner to experienced so if you want to come down please get in touch.

Merv.

Merv-We will be leaving for the U.S. on the way to Mexico and then maybe Central America. I have a Klepper Aerius 11 that I have never got aroung to using, probably made in the '70's. Are you familiar with this unit? Not sure we will get to Florida this time, but if we do we will try and get together. Barnaby

If you haven't already, check out the Loxahatchee River. Put in downstream of Trapper Nelson's and paddle upstream. Really narrow stream that cuts through the swamp. Really cool area to get a little taste of what Florida used to be. I'm assuming it hasn't been paved over or turned into a golf course community. Rolling Eyes It's been about thirteen years since I lived there.

If anyone is heading to the Keys and runs into trouble, give me a shout. I'm in Homestead (just below Miami).
