A new project has been started in Hessisch Oldendorf last weekend - the "Elephant"-Rometsch. The car was stocked in an old barn of the first owner und used by childrens from the neighbourhood as a toy. The jumped on the Aluminum so that the car looked a littlebit like a relict of the Jumanjii-Film. A friend from Italy bought that car 10 years ago and brought it to a company in Modena, who are "experts" in Aluminium. They rebuild the Aluminum, on the first view the work looked great, but on the secound view, they used the old bodypanels as a form and build a oversized body. To fix it on the frame, they cuttet the old wood and modelied it with presto and primered all in red. Not very professional...

Hans Oberlander is probably watching from his seat in the clouds. He was a very interesting guy... very full of life. I am sure he is smiling to see his car in your hands.
