Hey guys... need some opinions here.
I have done the searches and read the other threads, but need more info, or rather opinions.
I have a 1970 Mantaray II Kyote that needs a new exhaust to replace the rusted out bazookas and I want a 4 into 1 system to milk a little extra power. I have settled on either the manx sidewinder exhaust or the trimil bobtail with the glasspack. These are the only two that will work with my license plate without modifications.
So, how does the ceramic on the trimil compare to the hotjet coating on the sidewinder? Performance and sound differences?

Forgot to mention that I am running a type one single-port 1600. Planning on using a 1.5" system. Nothing oozing of power, but gets me to 75mph just fine.

Any help or inputs would be awesome!

Thanks!

Blanks

Both are loud with the glasspak and get louder as engine size gets bigger.
I prefer the look of the Sidewinder.
Now if you included using a quiet power style muffler I would go with the BobTail.

The Sidewinder will sound great with a stock 1600 engine.

I appreciate the inputs... I just put in an order for the sidewinder, but am still on the fence as to whether or not I made the right decision. The tri-mil would be a cleaner look on my kyote I think, but I am having trouble finding good pictures of buggies that have that exhaust installed. The sidewinder may be the best for performance though, and I dig the fact that it is made in the US of A, not china. I was told that the trimils are made in china, but I am starting to wonder it that was bogus intel.
