tattered idiot book. first person to pm gets it for 8.00 which is what it will cost to ship CONUS. bit of sentimental value to this one, pretty sure this is the first VW manual i owned, bought it around 1990.

I have a number of VW type-1 crankshafts, single port heads, a couple of dual port heads, many early style (non-doghouse) oil coolers, and miscellaneous engine parts (and cases). I may also have a case I'd be willing to part with that would work as a beater engine if you just slapped some heads on it (retired it due to low oil pressure).

I split my time between Pittsburgh, PA and Washington, DC. Let me know if you need parts.

Here is a rust free rocker and sliding door track that came off of a 1977 VW bus. Have been sitting on it for a long time. Boxed and ready to ship. More pictures in my gallery.

Just pay actual UPS shipping and it is yours.

PM sent on the track.

I didn't even know this thread existed!

When I'm home over the summer I'll be putting a few things that I have on here from my stash. I remember having a box of spare small stuff like an extra interior westy electrical socket, closet coat bar, probably a hook, cluster surround, speedo. There may even be a spare water tank for an early bay icebox in the one bus I picked up. Just have to pay the cost of shipping or come to OH and pick stuff up.

Most everything I have sitting around is early bay, but may fit later ones?

72-79 license plate light with seal, ad taken down because it's too new for me to ever use. If you can make use of it on your bus you can have it for shipping costs.

EDIT:

I have a set of points that I bought for my '69 camper with a 205T distributor. The wire connector to the condenser faces "forward" instead of back to the condenser terminal. I have no use for this set of points and will send them to a anyone that can use them. PM me.

I wonder if we could use FreeCycle for this? Instead of having a pysical location, we would have a virtual location, but their implementation and rules are pretty good.

Any other FreeCycle fans out there?

Plate light was mailed out awhile back. Also mailed out some late bay overriders to Busjunky recently. Looking in my apartment for other things I don't really need.

Probably have more bits this summer if I can make it back east for a vacation.

I have lots of T1 parts that I will trade for beer. Craft beer for parts, is there a better deal? I think not.
