After all the ash is mostly gone. All the newspapers out. Check what I found on top of newspaper pile:

Amazing, remember this was so buried I didn't even know it had a front suspension.

Car wash. Backed the trailer in the stall. Left them a f'n mess at the car wash. No brush or soap. No scrubbing yet. Should seen the debris in the gutters. Headlight was full of ash and sand. Look at before pic.
Now look at the after pic there is a number 3 in grease pen in the headlight bucket to the very outer left edge? Usually has a paint color or code in all the other buses I have seen

Yeah I slipped the emblem on. I try and keep emblems on all my project buses. I hate seeing them w/o their badge of honor. I already have most of the deluxe items ready to roll, so OG paint bolt ons are a priority. Seats will be needed(at least front).
I thought I will wash the bus and make it roll today after work. I had no nose cones to mount a tranny in. I have crazy amounts of deluxe shit but NO stupid nose cone WTF!! Mad
So, I thought I had better check the front drum and bearing scenario since they were buried. Drums are locked. Dust covers were the easiest ever to take off, weird again. The bearing grease looked fresh and greasy, amazing again. The drums are full of sand and ash looking though the lug bolt holes.

Not a lot of "interior" to show. Metal wise very very good. I think the headliner is scattered down the highway. The long panel has both armrests and trim. Material is good except the pile of rebar and such poked a hole. Very dirty also. Bulkhead panel is very good sans the 6" x 9" speaker hole. F'n idiots.
Did manage to score a Sigla front windshield for the 15w while getting the Flipseat today.
Been busy retrieving the Flipseat trash. Tomorrow kids soccer. Sunday hopefully back cleaning then it will go indoors to assemble.

Will be trading to someone the Flipseat for parts for this bus. Start digging your stash because all I want is these parts. Taking trade offers.
Needing:
All seats
SWR Doors
SWR Deluxe Rear hatch
SWR apron

I took the dove blue doors and rear hatch off the bus with relative ease. Only drilled two I believe. I hope I can find deluxe doors as nice as the Dove Blue i just took off.
I started cleaning the cab area. There was the ash/sand mixture everywhere. You have to get that all cleaned before I could really start cleaning as not to scratch everything all up. The speedo was loaded with debris and was dreading the outcome. To my astonishment it came out very well.
YES this is the OG speedo Very Happy .

Then thought had had better try to make it roll so I can get it inside.
Drums came off really easy with puller. The hardest part was rethreading every lug bolt hole in the drum as they were very corroded.
I knew Ihad to get puller on good. The drums look like no wear at all.
If I had $5 Napa rebuild kits for the wheel cylinders I know the brakes would work fine. Crazy. Just got two OG paint wheels from EmpiGT. Need two more. I probably have them.

Oh yeah found a great nosecone on my shelf just need a working small nut tranny. I have six large nut trannys. I was going to rob the tranny out of the Flipseat but I believe it will have a new home soon.
