hell hole firewall insulation on a 914

I need a good idea on what to use on my '73 914 firewall as heat shield/ sound deadening material. Mine is missing. Can I get original padding anywhere? Thank you

The padding holds in moisture causing rust find something else unless you are doing a stock restoration. Camp 914 in Oregon City may have the original if you want it or they could give you some suggestions of what to use. Send them an email and ask http://camp914.com/
