How did ending at Ft. DeSoto work out?
Also, maybe bring it forward a little bit. I am a self-confessed heat wimp, but maybe a month earlier would bring out more folks? Add the beach. Cookouts etc..
Lots of work to kick this off is completely apparent and this event needs to keep on rolling. |

The convoy originally ended at Ft desoto back in the day!...the 3 toll booths were the end of that venue  after the convoy hit the 100 vw mark theres just to many VWs to navigate threw ALL the tolls...KEEP the idea COMING  ..and THANKX

I guess that it boils down to what is the definition of a successful gig? I think that at the end of the day, if you and the folks that attend have had fun then it's a success. The number of cars in attendance could be a factor, but I think that some of the smaller gigs like the Olsen's event rocks, while bigger events like bug jam is good for different reasons.
To the point, you can't please everyone. The gig is on because it's on and folks choose to either come or they don't. Not your deal to plan around everyone's personal $hit. |

Last night I had the meetting with the good people who run Boydhill.They were VERY happy with US!! YES the beer bottles in the trash came up,and I said I would TRY to KEEP them OUT of the trash CANS!.So if your gona bring it TAKE IT with YOU when you LEAVE THAT SIMPLE!...They werent TO upset!...were ON for NEXT year!...again THANKX for supporting this event ....next year will be a HOOT!...

Looking forward to it. Hopefully by then I can trade my Motorcycle for a camper van or westy! Did you get to check out the SR70 Publix yet?

No not yet1..but I will!...thats a VERY do-able location stay tuned1...Next year I will open the camping up to the NON VW crowd! Boydhill is such a HUGE place just seems a shame for the rest of the world to missout DONT get me wrong its ALWAYS gonna bea VW event.ALOT of NON VW people told me they LOVED the camping site VIBE and PURE VW BROTHER ...long live the FREAKS!
