Well Patrick!!!!! LETS PLAY BALL!!!!
The journey begins tp bring your baby back to life. Robb began cutting and grinding this past weekend. He got your front floor removed and right side rocker inners and outers cut out!!! He also peeled off the homemade pop riveted long rocker repairs! And dug out some 1/4" think bondo slabs from the sides of your bus as well! Plenty of metal to cut out yet but the surgery has begun! Also heard rumor that a nice A-1 sidewinder for type 4 motor is on its way her es wee. I know where along way off from needing that right now but it is nice to have the parts here for when we do need them!!!!!

Patrick,
Robb got you front lower nose metal sorted out and trimmed off the removed the lower innner and out voance to prepare for the new sections to be fitted and welded in place. He aslo got your right side short rock cut off and new one fitted in place. He also removed fron heater duct piping and trimmed up front floor area to prepair for new floor placement. He also did a bunch of other small misc grinding and cleaning up of areas that needed attention.

Jerry i guess were actually a day late on shipping that frame!
But thats okay thanks for the offer any ways. It is rust just in that area on both rails We will just fab up new sections and weld them in and put some fishplates on the inside of them for strengtheners! Wont be a big deal to repair but never the less it sucks that it was rotted there. But never fear Vintage Metal Werks is here!!!!!! Patrick she's in good hands Robb will have her all not solid very soon ! _________________ Joe

Patrick I had several misc local weld jobs I had to do today but before i shut down the shop i decided to get your steeringbox raise done and out of the way so that we can proceed with your lower nose metal replacement! Heres a couple pics for you to check out!!!I went the maximum I could without having to modify your floor any. Should be perfect especially with thos "special" wheels that you will be rolling!

Yep Patrick is going to have his bus sitting down lower than stock not dragging slammed but low. He's got some really cool ideas of what his bus is going to be and I cant wait to get on it and stay on it to get it whipped out for him. Its going to be a super cool ride thats for sure.
Patrick Your inner rockers showed up today and the rest are on its way now!!!!! _________________ Joe

We Robb and I tagged team your bus today for a little while before we started the New Years festivities!! We got your left inner rocker cut out then I rebuild your master cylinder mounting bracket and crossmember. And cut out the rest of the old valance and pre fit your new inner valance. We then spot welded your right side dogleg peices and lower A pillar sections together. The cut out your old dogleg lowers and hung your doors and got your door gaps set were they need to be and tack welded the right side dog leg and a pillar into place!!!! Were planning on a good day tomorrow on this beauty also! I Hope you have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
