Patrick continues to plug along on his bus. Interior panels are almost done and I dropped off the canvas sunroof cover and some headliner material on Friday. Here's some pics from last week:
And some from Friday:

The safari frames appear to be sort of a matte black. Are they going to stay that color? Just curious. |

Saw the bus in person the other day dropping a part for Patrick.
He plans to cruise it out to the June Jitter Bug show next weekend.
Almost done!!! _________________ '72 super

Update:
I 'splitified' Patricks middle seat from a bay. Patrick and Gary then got crazy with a shower rod and fiberglass for the arm rest:

I don't see why more guys don't alter fat chick middles to make them look like split middles given the price of the real thing. That one doesn't look bad. I think overall the bus presents well: custom but done tastefully. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

^^^I absolutely love this mod. This is the real world when building these cars. You make what you don't have and I think it turned out awesome. Thanks for sharing. I try to do the same in my build threads (share). Cheers and can't wait to see it on the road. Ok, via the Samba. _________________ Jet City 1957 VW Oval Rag Build:
