Wow Ratmuller crew. Where did this come from? Way ko-o-o-o-ol ! ! ! !

Your immediate speed goal with this car and engine combo is 129.65 miles per hour. Up till now the actual top speed of Dick Bieths lakester was gleaned from an old Rod & Custom Magazine article on Dick. At this last World of Speed, Dick entrusted me with the official 1963 Bonneville Timing Plaque for that car and run which had the correct speed stamped on it. He had just found it laying in the bottom of an old tool box, long forgotten. Can we say the 36hp racing worlds "Holy Grail"!

Is that the vintage Geoff supercharged K36 engine I have hear rumpors about? Looks great. What are the prospects for having it on wheels for this coming springs Speedweek?

The plans for coming your way are still looking great and it would be neat to witness this VW lakester join your ever expanding Ratmuller Team at Lake Gairdner.

Please keep us updated!

Burly
