Anyone watching this show? It is the biggest train wreck of a show ever. I have to tune in just to watch these guys fail. _________________

I've watched the first season on Netflicks (no cable). I enjoyed their trip to the site and the building of their camp and mining equipment. After that its just guys arguing, becoming increasingly desperate each episode. I'm sure the current season is similar.
I liked the show Flying Wild Alaska way better. Its about bush pilots. _________________ 1970 Westfalia w/ Adventurewagen Top |

Reality shows have gone back a lot further than Survivor.

I give them credit for trying something like that but apparently not a lot of research was done beforehand. No big loss since I assume they are paid for being on TV. No one is losing their house or going broke. |

I almost felt sorry for these dopes, but the risks and challenges seemed obvious. I think these guys were victims of "The Power of Positive Thinking."
What a horrible feeling, Starting out in debt, pushing that debt up to a quarter of a million dollars and retrieving just $25 grand for a full summers hard work.
And they're going back for more?!
Stay down! STAY DOWN! |

I think its funny how they were so far in det they were all going to loose there homes if they did not succeed. Nobody would lend them any more $ and they failed. But in the 2nd season they somehow have more equipment, blasting around on snowmobiles looking for land and flying back and fourth from Oregon to Alaska. Give me a break, It's such bullshit. _________________ Schrodinger's cat walked into a bar and it didn't.

That crew hasnt a clue how to manage a site, run or repair equipment.I feel sorry for RGW,the companys orange vest that one fool wears. Raisch GradeWay is a proud union construction company out of Fremont CA,I worked in their mechanic shop back in the 80's...and any hand that actually worked for them would bury those turds...

They got more money from selling one of their airports....
Yea lets clear land after they can't push on the "big hill" then the old timer comes up and says it was mined before. Oh we wasted 5 days oh well. |

It was all down hill from the first few shows. They hired truckers to lug their crap up to the Mine. One of the bridges couldn't handle the weight of the lowboy and the track loader. So they drive the track loader through the river!?! I wonder if the got permission to do that/got a summons or just got away with it.
I like the fact that they are making the 16yr old kid out to be the go to guy that has it all handled. It just make the whole thing even more ridiculous. _________________

he's a dead ringer for his Grandpa.
I agree it has been downhill after the first couple of episodes but I have to tune in when I can to see how farfetched it gets. _________________ Rick

The show proves one point. You have to have money to make money. It's no different then any other business. You have to have the start up capitol to get going or your never going to get anywhere. Without $500,000 worth of supplies and equipment to start with, your not going to get rich looking for gold. _________________ 2017 Street Comp Champion - Thunder Valley Raceway Park - Noble, OK

Todd didn't pay the claim lease, he fuq'dup big time. I don't see how his boys can have faith in his decision making. 'Virgin ground' is the most recent fail. The 16 yr old kid is interesting and smarter than the whole lot. _________________ > 78Grµn Westfalia `Donkey`
