|
|
Hello-
How difficult is it to modify a 356 fan shroud so it will work in a VW? I like the clean look, but I don't want to spend a small fortune having my fabricator putting together custom linkage.
Cheers,
Paul |

| 356 used a modified and trimmed 36hp shroud. It would be easier to adapt the throttle linkage to 36hp than 356 shroud to 36hp |

Later models used a 40hp shroud. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Explain why every 356/912 fan shroud has a choke cable hole that has been plugged. |

Explain why the shrouds have little metal plates spot welded over the holes for the spark plug wire holders then. Also, how are you going to get a 36 horse shroud to fit the larger 1600 engines on Porsches. They are 40 hp stale air shrouds. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!
