I have a '63 deluxe and was wondering which mirror would have come on it. I see three kinds offered in repro and original. Plastic, Aluminum and Steel or chrome. What is correct?

It would have had either the small round aluminum or the "Elephant Ear" mirrors, depending upon what the dealer installed or customer chose. Stay away from the plastic, they are the worst of the worst. You are best off trying to find a good used original set or getting the Izzy's repro round mirrors, many other makes will vibrate and bum you out very quickly. Good luck!

I thought that busses came with the driver's side mirror already installed and that it was the round mirror. I don't know if it was aluminum or polished, but I have seen the German NOS mirrors on Wolfsburg West's website and they look to be a polished metal.
