I just got my email copy of Wolfsburg West Wired and look what they are now selling.

The bottom part looks very different than what I have ever seen. _________________ Chris

Wonderful parts Mika! Thank you for your suppport to the hobby!
Could you briefly explain the difference of the heater channel bottom throughout the Split/Oval-era? What are the "generations" of pressings? |

I made this according a late '51 original part, and have not inspected later versions so close. I have noticed some changes for outer cutline later versions.
One question is not clear for me, there is a douple hole at front, does the douple rectangular nut belongs to the bottom plate, spot welded there? I think it does. So some more work to do to be complete bottom plate _________________ Mika

I think the double nut block needs to be free so it can be moved around for alignment of the bolts. I have removed and replaced several bodies from the pan. On each body the block was free to move. _________________ '63 OG 117 Herbie Replica
