I got mine as promised in August. I'll post pics after I install it. I'm debating if I should paint it black or match it to my bugs blue. _________________ Eventually, "we are what we pretend to be.’”

I must applogise to a couple of people who got overlooked. Could only ship 6 and actually took the first orders that came through. Materials costs combined with overseas shipping costs mean more than 6 make it too expensive.

Question is - is he holding onto their cash too?? |
not taken any money from anyone who has not recieved the product, everyone was covered by Paypal claims process. I supplied all that i invoiced for and shipped from the UK to the states, sadly i missed a couple of orders that were not invoiced or paid for. Shipping for 6 spoilers cost me $200 thats why i make a few at a time. I work 14 hours a day and have a couple of hours here and there to make these so not a production line.
I cant be doing with accusations of bad practices, had excellent feedback in the past and cant be doing with the hassle so NO MORE from me. _________________ 1973 1303 RHD Vert Project

Ah, don't take it so harshly Robert. The spoiler you sold me would've been worth the wait. Many happy customers in your feedback section prove as much. Apologies for questioning your integrity, if I could I'd remove my post. _________________ Eventually, "we are what we pretend to be.’”

I made this one for a non-SB from an original in an adult ed plastics/composites class. We had free materials, so I used carbon fiber. I printed a Kamei decal on thin paper and it sits under the resin. I have more pics somewhere. Class was closed by the school, so I haven't made any more since. It has taken a lot of abuse with the car being lowered, but still holds together. The poly-carbonate bug bouncer above the bumper is a copy of a UK supplied version from the 80's. Keeps the stone chips down, although not very aerodynamic! _________________ 1967 Ghia

I just read through 4 pages of discussions and made an account (been meaning to do that for a while!) to reach this point lol.
Man, I really hope you're still making these front air dams!?
If not, I hope you could be persuaded by either helping a fellow countrymen out (lol) and financial incentive!
Alas, if not, it is back to the drawing board (Google) for me. Seems these things are getting rarer and rarer still. |

So.... I've managed to find somewhere that is selling some original kamei front spoilers. Check out the site in of a place in Germany called hoffmann speedster.
They have them for older beetles and for 1302/1303 +s. I emailed them and they confirmed they will attach to my 73 super.
Here I come... Minus 64% front end lift lol. |

Do not buy this spoiler from this seller^^^^
I bought one of those Ebay fiberglass "Kamei" front lips from that guy....
I have a OG Kamei, so I was looking for a 'back up', just in case something happened to my Kamei....this guy's reproduction is not even close to a real Kamei.... Check out the comparisons:
......it's crap, I didn't even bother taking all the plastic wrap off of it. Well, the fiberglass is good- but he didn't make it anything like a true Kamei should be like. Check the comparison pictures. It's WAYYY too curved to do the job right. It should 'flatten out' towards the bottom. The spoiler is meant to redirect the air AROUND the car.....not act as a scoop and increase drag.....
I've messaged the seller about this.....he says to return it to him, then he'll refund me. I've requested a full refund, since his spoiler isn't even close to what it should be. _________________ 1973 Standard Beetle
