That's my brother in laws 66'. The door panels, headliner, and rear carpet are all original.

Not too much, just typical VW progression, always a few upgrades.

1965 = link/king pin.

1966 = Ball Joint, Center Defrost, Emergency Flashers, Chrome trim strips on interior panels, "1300" engine and emblem on decklid, safety latches on the seats, steering wheel black, and the 1/2 horn ring retuned after a 2 year hiatus, vents added to the wheels with new flater hubcaps, headlamp dimmer now on turn signal arm....

hmmmm what I miss?


Round button exterior door handle from 66 1/2.
