Does anyone sell generator pulley hubs? the one i have is rather chewed. i ordered a repo one from kaefer nostalgie but was told they were not available. it is from my april 52 25 hp engine. anyone?

I am not certain that the 356 ones are the same, but for $19 it is probably worth a shot. If you order one, let us know Paul.
Good original VW ones are getting very hard to find. I don't know of any other source for them.... _________________ John Henry

It doesn't look to far gone. A little welding and grinding and it's good as new.

I'm pretty sure they are the same. I think I found out about them here. They sell the entire pulley and even the big nut. _________________ Chris

I know the pulleys aren't exactly he same. They are close, but the profile and edge treatment is different. Functionally, they will work, but they are not the same. And I seem to remember some difference on teh hubs, but I could be wrong.... _________________ John Henry

Since it is not as deep as the split part, It might not work with the wider split belt.
