Thanks. After doing a lobster search I found a picture of another one. There seemed to be a bunch of different varieties of these. Anyway, I won't be using it. 3 point retractable for me.

Inside rear fender between the fender and wheel arch. Not sure when this changed but this is for earlier years -- was later changed to raw, molded rag material.

Hard to find.

Keeps sound from the engine entering into the main cabin. Also promotes rust. I would only use on an OCD level restoration. I removed mine -- deciding that I preferred zero rust to noise dampening and authenticity.

I know what this part is and what its parts number is (411 941 539). It's a dust jacket for the wiring on the master cylinder. The one in the photo may be a Bus or Beetle part, but I have one that came off my Ghia.

Point is, I need 6 of them. Can't find them anywhere. please help.

You need only 2 of them! Why 6?

Yep, I needed only 3. I have a switch on the dual circuit MC that also needs 1. And I found them at KGP&R (Airheads section.)

6 was a mistake. I can't even remember how I thought that. (I find a new way of making a fool of myself every day.)

Thanks.

Thank you for your replies to my question about these 2 holes in my dash. I have a 74 coupe. My guess is a cigarette lighter or something. Suggestions welcomed.

I think he means the holes?

If so, they are just holes, never did anything in a 74.
Plug them, utilize them, or deal moth them.
