Yeah...those.guys did good work. I just don't have the time for that. I don't want to spend more money than I already have, but those headers from air cooled are only a couple hundred dollars. I've got four days off in a row next week...time to finish some body work and some other little odds and ends. All the tin is trimmed and fits nice and snug everywhere. Put a lot of time and effort doing.that and don't want to mess with the tin anymore. _________________ Good things come to those who wait.

Last gen stand I swapped the oil filler on required me to heat the shit out of it. Torched it pretty good to where I melted the gasket, only way that damn nut would loosen up.

Sorry guys....busy busy busy.....Jess took a job off in Eureka, California and we've been getting ready for the move. She leaves tonight and I'll stay behind for a few weeks. I have a contract job in Los Angeles the 30th through the 17th and then I'll be finishing the packing and moving. Should be in Eureka myself by the 25th or so of June. And Yeah....got a new generator stand....motor is complete and ready to run...just have to install it and the fuel pump and vroom vroom....going to be a bit, though. This move came up quicklyand we've got a realtor putting together a list of potential houses for us buy. Jess wanted to be closer to her family and we both wanted the baby around family....shes's got a bunch of cousins around the same age.
It will run soon....how soon? Ha! No clue...lot of curveballs right now. _________________ Good things come to those who wait.

Eureka is pretty neat. Kind of weird. Pretty different from other places further south, but California varies a lot from place to place anyway. Won't be as hot as LA, that's for sure. Lots of great driving roads though and you can enjoy them year round.
I'm sure you know what else Humboldt is known for lol.
