F**** cool,

a) Did you do the mod on the radio (size seems doubled) yourself? Any thread on that / more pictures of the build?

b) Is it really carbon fibre that i see there for the dashboard?

c) SIX seats? How are they distributed? I've also six in my Carat, but your setup looks different ...

d) CARBON-mats also for the seat-heating? Aftermarket, what brand?

regards & I envy you ..

Nice work! I requested these pictures some time ago, so glad to see them.

my van is currently naked and I'm looking at interior fabrics to replace my yellowing paper. where did you find your fabric/material and what is it called?

Thanks much Stephan!

Is the vinyl(?) hard or soft shell? It looks like a surface way harder than the soft vinyl I've used for draping.
Very nice pattern too.

The double high DIN chassis clearancing is a nice idea. "Some" flip up displays do not clear well also. This seems like a good way to recycle a damaged dash pad. There are specialist companies that vacuum from old dashes for Mercedes, Porsche etc...like this. But it looks like leather or fake leather (Naugahyde) too.

A nice solution.

What is going in the hole?

Sweet!

Could you shed a little more light on the heaed seats? I'd like to add some heaters to my Recaros.

Thx!

Thanks Exclamation for all the comments. The Dream Syncro has been a pleasure to work on. It looks soooo much better in person.. There will be Many more pictures to follow this Syncro once it's completed.

The dash is a slight rubberized material. It's called "grabber" and is mostly used for personal water craft. ... Perfect for temporary placement of things like a cell phone etc. Then again the Dream Syncro's power plant would send things flying. Shocked . I really love the dash. It came out very nice.

The hole is being filled by the Pioneer Flagship AVIC-Z120BT / 7 Inch In Dash LCD Monitor with GPS Navigation AV Receiver DVD Playback and Built In Bluetooth. It will run a two other monitors and a Mini Mac will have input to the Pioneer and monitors too.

Seats: Full Westy that we installed a second row 2 person seat. The seat heaters are installed in all seats. The second row seat can be removed so there is a plug that can be easily unplugged for the seat heaters. If you google aftermarket Seat Heaters you'll find several brands out there.

Outside there is a speaker output jack and a 32" flat screen LED monitor that swings out from the "B" pillar for outside entertainment. ... Yes, really! Razz .

The Recaro material is used throughout the Dream Syncro. Curtains are also made out the same material from the seats too called Artista.
Headliner and accent is made from a suede material. Most of the "upper" section is perforated and plush. Yummy!! Exclamation

I'll follow up with more pictures later today. Gotta get back to work.... Laughing

I've been eyeing my dash to do exactly this, good to know it's possible, and cleanly so.

Can you post links or contact info for the places you get your materials?
