you said i could have them... you don't think they look better on me than you?

you watch, fake cunado wear reading glasses are gonna start showing up at pomona!

Gibbs, I said you could use them, johnny said you could have them. Johnny was drinking cunado juice pretty hard though. You know what that does to him. He stops laughing loud and laughs real quiet in a high pitch.
I think pickins looked better with them on, but I too was hitting the cunado juice pretty hard also.
Fake Cunado wear gear is poping up every wear.

Hey Scott great pics, I never seen till now. I will be posting some new pics tomorrow with the OG front seat and kick panel and all the other interior panels that came out of the 56. Been cleaning on the panels an started to do the repairs. The panels from the 56 are lighter in the middle.

Hey guys need some ideas. The OG front seat is coming apart, went to a local shop they say it's to far gone to restitch. So just wondering has anybody seen lenny's seat cover and or octavius. I want to keep the 55 OG, but seem to be having a problem on this seat. Any help would be great

Bill,
I would get in touch with Matt Miller. He just installed my seat here at the new safe house. I believe he said he has material to do ur seats
Let me know if you need his number.
Well worth the wait. My seats look incredible!

I used Octavio and its pretty close, maybe not quite green enough compared to my original upholstery rear seat.

I know internet pics aren't always reliable but the seats that I saw that he did looked too "gray". I still need to check into getting mine restiched or piece together material that I have to make covers.

If you are referring to Octavio's then yes they are too gray or beige. When I saw them in a restored bus with nothing to compare to they looked killer, but when you have them close to an OG seat, like in my bus, its is obvious they are off.
Then again his cards for the PG/SGs are SUPER NICE. A friend has a set in his bus and if I ever was crazy enough to shiny up my bus I would use those panels in a second as well as the seat covers.

Bill, I spoke with Matt earlier today. He said that he is able to get the soft green material. He said the material is very close. I have Matt's product on two of my buses.. I would go that route. Wink

It's been awhile since I've posted anything, I will try and post a bunch of new pics tomorrow. Installed OG cargo doors today, in my quest to have as much OG paint as possible since the doors i had been painted in the past. I will be installing a OG rear hatch this week as well, it is in better shape than my current hatch. I will be posting more as I am getting the bus ready for OCTO and Classic, I will have the headliner done in sunny southern California. Can't wait I hope there will be a good PGSG line up.
