Those tires on the buggy are recaps made by Thompson Tire (if I remember correctly somewhere in the San Diego area). The are called a "Checkerboard".
I had a set back in the 1970s on a buggy. They worked well in the dirt.
They were in Petersen's "Off Road Fun Cars" book published in 1970 and you may find them in early buggy magazines advertisements. _________________ Joseph

Good to know! I was really curious about them. Jerry, you called it on the recaps. _________________ 1800 Type 4 Berrien 295

the E Jaguar - commonly misnamed the XKE - did not have a single straight line anywhere, except the rocker boxes.
looks like this car got 'em all. _________________ 73 Beetle Baja, Ghia front brakes, Type 3 rear brakes, 2220 ( 94 X 80 ), Weber Progressive, Bosch SVDA, '97 Mustang seats

So this is actually based on some sorta schematic? the body is full steel. figured someone had to get their ideas from somewhere. Not trying to hijack the thread, but is there any literature on "e jaguar" ?

Very good Van!
That IS an inflator.
I have 2 of them. One for a car and one for a motorcycle. They work surprisingly well. Not real fast, like a 12Vcompressor, but it works. _________________ Richard
