I didnt take that many pictures while doing the headliner. But here is what I have.

The back part of the headliner that is hanging down in the picture below.
Was a problem, it was almost to tight and would not go in with out breaking the clips and bending the cardboard support. Had to sleep on it but was able to fix it by cutting a strip of metal out of thin stock. making the holds bigger on the cardboard support and running the metal strip under the clips and gluing it to the cardboard support. Done

For the most part Im Done but there are a couple of things to finish. I still want to drop the front end a little (maybe next year) I want to have the Speedo rebuilt (Odometer Quit after 1 mile) and Install a vintage repop radio (Christmas Present hint hint). Having an original vintage radio that works is just not that important to me.

PS if i have already said this, I have brain damage and cant remember.

Remember What?

What ??

Well Dad made it to his first official car show. There is a local show here once a month where lots of different cars come out and take up a street downtown. Dad and I went and some other vw's showed up as well a ton of really nice older cars. We were just talking and walking around when someone came up to my dad and told him he got best in show. Was really cool made his night for sure!

Thank you both. It was a great experience but drive it is more fun.
You can finish, I worked 3 or 4 nights a week for 2 hours each some weekends I worked all day when I felt good, some weeks I was so sick I didn't even touch it. If I had been in better health I could have finished in 8 months but then again it was my health that inspired me to do this in the first place.
Just do it. Good luck

Just read this entire build thread - AWESOME!!! I recently got a 59 Euro. Its been converted to 12 volt though.... I believe I need to install some kind of voltage reducer/regulator on the semaphores to keep them from pre-maturely wearing out.

I am just now going over my bug. Any help on the semaphores wiring or location of the wires or where I should regulate the voltage would be great.

Again - you guys did an incredible job. I love seeing a car that was left to die, plucked out of obscurity and new life pumped into her. Your build was amazing. I could look at your pics all day.... if allowed I may shoot a question or two your way...eventually

Congrats on your build!!!
