I have a few of what look like the X member to mount the rear decklid of a BD with 9 mounting holes. I have them in 2 different withs but the same part#.

Part # is 271 807 591

Could someone shed some light on the part#??? i never saw a 271 part#.

Trying to upload the pics but they too big and have no idea how to resize them Embarassed , maby i can email them to someone and they can get them up??

271 is a part number for an ambulance.

So it must be the rear X member to bolt the hatch to?????????



If anyone needs one i have about 6 of these, all NOS.

Had lots of interest in these so i sent Mr.Everett an email with the pics, hope he can get them up so everyone can see what they look like.

Does anyone know if the BD ones would be different in size to the later split ones??

if these are for a ambulance shouldn't it have a spot for the decklid the bolt onto?

The decklid and rear hatch would pivot/hinge from the same cross member on a barndoor ambulance.

Looks like the wider peice i have (for sale) is the same as the above pic with the 9 mounting holes and captive nuts to mount the decklid on a BD.

If anyone is interested let me know.

and am pretty sure the narower one i have is the "hinge carrier" for the above hatch.
