Ok there was some mention of this in the PNW trail bash thread so i wanted to start a thread for it..

In july i had a bus gtg and campout on the farm at my house in Rainier WA just outside Olympia. Greg, clara, myself, Tj and Kelly (jackswagen) were the ones who could make it. it was short notice and not promoted.. We bbq'd and drank swaped stories around a fire it was fun.. We talked about doing one in the summer and a winter one..

SO with that said were shooting for Feb sometime I will let you all dicide when..I have about 100 acers and multiple fire areas and there is a creek and cow ponds for you lifted bus guys to burry your shit and have it pulled out by a tractor lol. we can camp on the front lawn by a small fire pit or we can take it upfront and circle em up around a larger fire pit .I want to have more buses and more people so it should be fun. There is a heated shop on site and we can hang out do what ever.

*DISCLAIMER*
One rule and One rule only..Im sure there will be people i havent had the pleasure of meeting in person. Most of you i have, I am open to whoever wants to come, wife, kids, aunts, parrents lol (friendly)dogs this will be a friendly SPLIT BUS event only, and the rule is i dont want any assholes or people showing up thinking this is a high school party being loud unruley, we will drink and hang out but i dont want to deal with assholes or people who are rude..I know it sucks to say but 99% of bus people are amazing and would give the shirt off there backs. But the 1% like any car group are assholes and we will not tollerate it,it is private property and im the boss.. and you will be asked to leave,or if case may be made to leave..I highly doubt there will be even one problem but i have to put it out there its simple come out drink some beers have a good time we will bbq and get a rippin fire going..

Ok with the disclaimer out of the way ,whos in and lets talk dates..
Im sure Greg n Clara will chime in soon with there thoughts and ideas.

Im open to any ideas and if nobody wants to do it then well we dont have to..
I just thought it would be fun and could turn into a local show even, if popularity grows..never know

Alex

Sounds like fun. Maybe pick out a spot with lots of trees around so we can run up some large tarps to keep the rain off our heads? If we get a series of tarps strung together and winch them high enough in the tree we can still have a fire underneath it which will keep a large group of us dry and warm.

Alex, keep in mind, the Octo show is Feb. 18 I believe, may want to steer from that, as some of us may want to do both. I am talking to some of the East side folks, we may come over in a Bus.

Good point. I am not sure if we are going to OCTO but it would be nice to keep the option over. The Superbowl is February 5th, so that may be another weekend to avoid if there are any football fans.
