It's with a heavy heart that I report that Dean from Bugshields has passed of natural cause on the 28th of December 2011.
He will be missed.
His son Dean jr. has taken over the windshield business and will resume producing windshields asap. (714)854-0519 |

Condolences to the Burdett family on Deano's passing... spoke with him by phone a couple times in years past; very nice gentleman...

What a great guy that man was. I met him once when I bought my windshield. It was a great experience and he left a favorable impression on me. He will be missed. |

What a bummer! I have been talking to him about ordering one over the last few weeks. I have been waiting to order because I was waiting until I was a little closer to installing it. God Bless his family. I will still be ordering one when the time comes. |

Thanks for the update. I met Dean once when I bought the wind wings from him. He was so helpful and friendly. I have a feeling that everyone instantly liked him when they met him. We have lost another one of the great ones. |

My condolences as well, I like others just got a frame from him a few months ago.
Sad to hear. I know he has done alot for the VW and kit car community.
Hopefully his son can continue the legacy. He will be missed. |

Dino was an extremely nice person, some years back he practically bent over backwards giving me info over the phone and pointing out several stores that had what I was looking for with the best prices. The Dune Buggy world needs more people like him.
He definitely will be missed!!! |
