I think there are more porsche 914 than vw 411/412 in existence right now (that should give idea of how rare). You will have to be willing to make parts/modify parts etc. If you are not up to this and/or really wanting to own a 411/412 pass on it. Do not think you can flip the car...the market just is not there...it takes years to sell one. But they are great cars. _________________ 1982 Westy, 1974 412 Variant... Yes, Aircooled's are great! Oh and I do have modern computer controlled vehicles too, but I just don't care about them. |

Sorry for the late reply, it's in Shelton and actually looks to be straigh and rust free. It's one of 3 I know in the area. Here's the add: http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/cto/2776198358.html
There are actually 2 in the area for sale. _________________ PNW Dub Folk & Kitsap dub Folk (KdF)

I wonder if mine are the others you know of? I have three - red wagon, yellow wagon ( just like this one ) and blue fastback. I generally drive them only between Bainbridge and Silverdale. |

I have seen the yellow one! I live more towards Kingston and everytime I see a Type 4 running around, I wave. I do see them often enough though to know they're atleast sort of local. So it probably it you I see running around. _________________ PNW Dub Folk & Kitsap dub Folk (KdF)

I live in Suquamish and sometimes make the loop drive around Kingston, just to give my cars a little exercise, or to test drive when I've just done a little work on them. |
