The Bus has a name ! Nathaniel suggested Rocky (In honour of the big hills we crossed )
Rocky should be leaving LA this week for the next leg of the journey !Arriving over here towards the end of April.
Todd, when are the good VW get togethers around LA ? We start bringing the Boeing back to LA from next month so i thought I might try and bid for a trip and take in a local show ? Or even some of that wine tasting you talked about !!

Well, For local stuff around here it is April 1st but it is just a day event and really low key. As far as LA and some bigger events check the calender here. If you see anything interesting let me know and I will try and join you. I am planning on the Nor cal camp out in May. I think its called Bus City. We can wine taste any time you have the time.

Very excited yesterday when the van arrived at our home here in England. Less Excited today when we started unpacking and found a black widow spider had set up home in the bus - complete with eggs !!
Not quite the reunion we had hoped for !!

Hey Mar-teen, I hope things are good. Black widows are no biggy. Just introduce them to the size 9, No worry. The San Francisco trip was a success. 39 pallets of VW parts packed and wrapped and shipped in 2 days work. But man the seller sure was pissed. He really didn`t know what he had. I am off to the Hi Desert on Monday. Did I ever tell you that I love junk yards. Especially aircooled yards.

Hi Dustin. Thanks - it is nice to have the bus back . Did you manage to see the pictures on the blog ok ! Can't show you any more of the inside of the Bus as it's off limits until Enviromental health have come to visit !! which wont be until Tuesday !! The Black widow has caused a bit of a stir ! The local zoo rang up, wanting it for their collection ! Unfortunately it was dead by then - having been confined to the freezer along with sleeping bags and a few other things we had already unloaded !!
I think she must have got into the bus with the two doors that we picked up in LA at the end of the trip ! I prefer that idea to the thought of sleeping with it for the whole month !!!
I picked up a fogger maid by raid the other week in Orlando - we have set that off in the bus so hopefully when enviromental health come on Tuesday they wont find any more live ones !!!!
