Hi everyone here are some pics of my 90's inspired bug i bought Bert in 1996 with the intention of finishing him in about 6 months but as usuall there was more work than expected due to our lovely salted winter roads over here so by the time i finished replacing all the rust and getting him painted it was two years later then we had children and Bert was untouched for ten years so i fanally got him finished in Dec 2010 then had this photoshoot done in the summer then i got November readers rides car of the month in Volksworld
well worth the 14 years wait

i wish i hadnt moulded them now cos i have a small blemish on one of the wings and its going to be a nightmare blending it in
and unfortunatley i have no seatbelts in the back so my wife wont let me take the kids out ......what a shame...lol |
