What are your favorite movies to own?
Whatever format Tape laser disc DVD or blu-ray what movie will you watch multiple times and still enjoy?
I've got a number of dvd's waiting for a yard sale because I just won't watch them again.
There are a lot of great movies I don't care to see again but if I'm stuck at home sick I love to watch the three amigos.
My list of good to own: (i actually do own these)
Indiana jones 1-3
3 amigos
Die hard 1
Borne identity
Italian job (both versions)
Money pit
The matrix (1 only)
Super troopers
I'd buy the original star wars movies if they were available without the late 90's modifications. Han shot first! |

Kids movies for the kids since they enjoy watching them over and over. I don't know if I'll ever buy another movie when there is red box and other means to get a movie.
*edit, Although I do want to see the Empire Strikes Back on blu ray, but I'm just not excited to buy the movie for the 2nd/3rd time in my lifetime. _________________ '62 Rag Top Bug

| Hank- That's an excellent list. I just saw the 3 amigos the other day and forgot how funny it is. I'll add The Big Lebowski to the list. |

How did I forget snatch! I've watched that DVD a number of times
I also need to give big leblebowski another chance. I really enjoyed it but didn't quite get the cult following. |

some of us know the "Dude" all too well. I recommend watching the Big Lebowski once a year. You will always get something new out of it. _________________ No one wins a battle of egos. The Godfather and The Godfather II. III is not worth a damn but comes in the box set.
Bond films.
Reservoir Dogs.
Pulp Fiction.
Saving Private Ryan.
Braveheart.
The Usual Suspects.
This is a general "guy list" in addition to those listed above. If you're a chick or responsible for entertaining chicks, god help you. Might as well buy everything with Hugh Grant in it. _________________ Not enough car seats fit into my:

Gotta add Chinatown and The Two Jakes, especially if you are from southern California. It is NOT history but it gets very close sometimes...
And the sentimental list would have to include "The Sound of Music."
One mention of The Love Bug and this thread gets locked! |
