| There are many threads on here that I would like to save for future reference. I know I can bookmark them, but I'd rather house them here on thesamba. I can save favorite photos now. How about being able to mark a thread as a favorite? |

at the bottom of every thread, there is a 'bookmark' link... the list of bookmarks is controlled in your Control Panel....

What blankmange posted above.
"Watch" adds it to your watchlist and sends you emails.
"Bookmark" adds it to a bookmark listing on the site.
I recommend using Bookmark over Watch.
Or use both if you want to both save a thread and get emails about it.
The reason is that is if I start getting a pile of rejects from your email account because of an email change or an issue, I will kill all your watched threads to stop the rejects. This will remove them from your watchlist.
Your bookmark list is not affected.
On average, I kill several people's watch lists/classifieds alerts/other emails the site sends out per day.
