Too much but save it and sell it to someone who will love it! Great find!

It's currently sitting as a bodyshell only (complete) waiting for me to build a chassis to house the W12 6.0 that I've just removed from a Phaeton Wink

Thanks. I'm staying with the D90s, just wider ones Smile

It'll be running 7.5s and 9s next time it's on the road.

I'm struggling to find anything wider than a 245 tyre to put on them though. I'll need more like a 265/275 with 450-500bhp!

I've got 2 on the rear of my 911 that I believe are from a 944... They we're put on by the previous owner for rollers but have the wrong offset. I'll check the specs the next time I visit the car to replace them with Fuchs if you like.

Thanks. If they're from a 944 they could be 8s or 9s with a 52mm offset.

9s are as wide as you can get with these.

Yes I bought the 56 and have had it delivered 2 weeks ago.
It's now off the pan and all parts are bagged and marked.
The other beetles included a Canadian standard, but not for sale.

Seems to be lots of Ovals turning up in Canada on this thread. Here she is delivered at my place in June 2013, she's pretty rough, no engine, rear clip, partial front clip, glass, fenders, decklid, rear seat frame, and lots more of course. But the numbers on everything else match a June 54 build date. It will be my first build if I go ahead. Might be a foolish way to start?

Nice! My father has a 1934 ford that has a bunch of old school rust preventative paint on it. It looks a lot like your oval with the black and red/pink look!

Love the pinstripes Wink

I have less to start with with my '56 but I'm not trying to make it original.

I love it! It looks like with a good polishing and detail job that car would look real nice.

2009: I found my 57 Sunfroof which had unfortunately been stored in a car storage bag outside. It caused a lot of moisture to be able to attack the car over a 10 year period.

My 67 in the background that I had to give up as a result of buying this one. The 67 went on the trailer and back to a close friend I had bought it from previously.

This is my Nov '54 as found. I got it from a guy I've known for years and he always had better and earlier cars so this just sat at his house for many years. It needs a LOT of help.

I just got it to the house two days ago. I knew it was coming so I have already sourced complete ribbed doors, correct semaphores, batwing and ragtop assembly, plus incorrect mid-55 hood/fenders/decklid till I can find correct earlier stuff.

Where are all the cheap sets of pre-55 seats? Hahaha
