I love storing things in the high top of the Adventurewagen (like skis, bike wheels, etc). However, sleeping in a pop top is so much better than trying to sleep in the top of the Adventurewagen. This Reimo top seems to have the best of both worlds. Carthago and Teca seem to make something similar but I prefer the smooth lines of the Reimo top.

No longer made. The only chance you have of getting one is to find a derelict van in Europe that has one installed on it. Reimo no longer sells any roofs for the T3. _________________ Karl Mullendore

Agreed.
Good luck finding one though. Only place for these is on the used market in Europe. _________________ 1987 Syncro

Woh, to find one is like the chance to get hit by a lightning
Roofs like that have been sold in Germany mostly and some in europe. The reason why they are not so often its the price they had about 5000DM (approx 2500€; 3500 USD). And there were/are just four companies they made them:
Companie/Roof-name (sold also under other names!)
Carthago
Reimo/SD 204 (Münnich/Primus)
SCA/SCA500 (Teca;Luna;Trio)
Weinsberg/Terra SD
If you´r searching in google use the Name "Zwitterdach"
When i got mine, i made an overview here about the different roofs and their qualities:
http://www.t3-infos.de/t3-infos_f.html#zwitterdach
I had quiet big luck because i got three of them in one year, so i had the choice I took the SCA 500 because the quality was best of all and it looks very nice
So back wo your question: I don´t think there is a big chance to find one out of europe, even to find on in europe. In various forums here you see nearly every month one or two advertisement for search. Prices are form 300€ (bad Carthago one) till 1000€ (good Reimo/SCA). If the canvas is broken it´s about 400€ to get new one (but not from the manufactors, they don´t have any spare parts etc. for those roofs, even for this kind of vans).
The best way to get one is to buy a whole van with that roof on. But there is just a very very small chance to get one of this cheap. And you have to be fast, very fast! Or to pay a higher price...
An option could be to make your own high-pop-top like Claus did this (it´s not finished yet, but on the way )

Ist a Dehler highroof mounted on a Westfalia poptop
If you need more infos just ask

Man, this top looks good! Any idea about availability in N. America?
Although, so far out of all of these my favorite is the Weinsberg, I dig the rear luggage rack and sharper angles. But this SCA is really clean looking. _________________ 1984 Westy 2 Dubya D
