It would be cool if there was a wheel identification index added to the Samba technical library with photos and a small blurb to identify similar-looking wheels..
Markings for early / late, original production width options, offset, etc.
...Because of all the options that arise from altering the bolt pattern, Wide five and 4 lug patterns only for original fitment on VW's.
There is a wealth of knowledge in the form of personal experience. it would be cool to be able to see it without people asking "what wheel is this?" all the time.
....just a thought. |
