I found a set of these wheels at a junkyard and I know some of these can be worth something. Is there any way to tell? Here is a pic. Can anyone tell if these are the real deal? Thanks

so the front pair are different to the back pair?

it sounds like the front are og empi and the backs og crestline.

yes they are worth more than empi repros. as for how much, you will need someone who follows wheel prices to tell you.

nice score.

They are different wheels, the front and back. They have the same color to the centers with polished lips on all wheels. I didn't see any makings on the front. Where should I look? Only the fronts are two piece and the backs have a bigger lip. Should they be soda blasted and powder coated centers and polished lips? I'm going to clean the fronts some more to see if I can see any markings.

Did you get a good deal on them? If you got a good deal on them reguardless what they are thats a pretty good junk yard score. Those things could have rotted away out there.

The 2 peice wheels are original early empi 5 spokes. They look good but they are the early 2 rib style that are well known for crack's EVERYWHERE but the wheel you have shown look's good. They are the acorn lugnut style (if my eyes don't deceive me again) Good score 2 pair's of cool wheels Cool

I got a good deal on them. What do they sell for and are they worth having restored to sell?

Try taking a look through the wheel/tire classifieds. You may be able to get a better idea.

As far as the empi 2 peice wheels go it's hard to say because it really depend's on who's looking for some at that moment otherwise they sit. But average is about $100 to $150 each that also goes for the crestlines. Cool thing about crestlines is that they have a sweet offset so many people back in the day would use Cal Parts for the rear and crestlines up front to have a staggered set even though they are different makes they look identical with just the width and offset being different. I've been watching wheels being sold on this site forever now and as soon as any set of cool aftermarket wheels drop to about $400 to $500 a set they get sold. I've seen more Empi 2 peice wheels for sale than any other original empi wheel and the crestlines are alittle more tougher to find but the 5 spokes are easy to get.
