Performance Industries. Looks like original caps. Could be a "PI". Never seen original caps. |

$4000.
I'll sell you my set for $2000 cause they have no caps.
Honestly, I don't think anybody could really tell you. There was a guy trying to get 1000 bones for a restored set. I think he was dreaming. They're not popular, but they are rare. I'd do a search for "turtle" in the wheel/tire section of the classifieds and kind of start there. I think turtles are more popular due to their offset, but with a narrowed beam PI's would look sweet.
*edit*
Just took a peek and there are a couple of sets for sale in the classifieds.

Best looking vw wheels made!
If only they were wide 5 pattern with just five slots.
I would love to see a set that is all natural, no black background and nothing polished. Just raw dark aluminum. |

those may be the correct caps. not many know but it has been said that that logo cap is correct for these wheels. as to value not much. $200-300 in that condition. if those are the correct caps and you have all of them and a full set of the lugs deff the higher end of that figure and maybe a touch more. i paid $300 shipped for the set i have.
they are a great wheel that you don't see often. i'm going to polish/paint my set for the square after it's painted....ken.... _________________ ITMC

I'd go with this estimate. |
