Looks great! I love Dave Deal's drawings. He truly had a talent.

It's listed as available at Revell.com.

http://www.revell.com/model-kits/cars/85-1740.html#.Um68VvmkpWU

I have an original one that could use a few parts, and one of these reissues would make a great donor.

Recent purchase of this ENTEX VW BUG 1303S 1/20th scale Plastic Model Kit, really nice detail to parts, has an optional Rolls-Royce Hood with chrome grille.
Chrome accessory parts include a Roof Luggage Rack & Fog Lights.
You don't see this model kit very often.
BANDAI made this exact model too, they must has bought the molds when ENTEX went out of business in the early 1980's.

Nice find.

I still have this model that I built around age 14. I've replaced a few missing parts over the years, but it still looks good. Especially good detail with the engine, that even has spark plug wires.

He really liked it. I also made a model of his single cab though it wasn't as good as the 15 window was.
I am building these custom to order now to pay for an engine. The add is on my classifieds.

Hasegawa 67 Bug. Almost done. Still have to paint the running boards and bare metal foil the running board trim. Made it a right hand drive. Wasn't to happy with how the dash fits in there beetle models.

The rear I got out of a Porsche 911 turbo kit and the front out of the Porsche slant nose kit.

Just finished these 1/25 scale examples of the Ornery Otto resin kit made by ModelMartin. Shades of the old Fiat gassers.

These were the last two Ornery Otto VW kits to be produced, and are built on the MPC Bantam Blast chassis with a supercharged Dodge hemi.
