Hey Folks, looking for fellow air-cooled people in the San Diego are that would be interested in a cruise night somewhere down by the beach. I've got some people interested and I think it would be a pretty cool/fun thing. I'm thinking maybe one Friday a month to start. I know that there are some other air-cooled clubs in San Diego but I haven't really seen much as far as cruise nights go.
Anyhow, if you're interested please leave a reply to this thread and keep an eye on it.
And hey, since everyone loves pictures, leave a pic of your ride if you can.

A San Diego area cruise is always a great idea! Get in touch with Bret (gudentite on this site) he has quite a resource for a lot of VW enthusiasts in the area and could possibly assist you in getting a fairly large group together.

I am starting to get some more interested parties. If you folks don't mind, can you spread the word to your friends and fellow air-cooled buddies?
By the way, I hope I'm not stepping on the toes of any local 'clubs' or anything like that. I'm just a guy that wants to cruise with some other vdub enthusiasts!

You're right, set a date already! So, here it is.
Friday, March 16th 6-8pm we meet up at the parking lot across the street from the roller coaster in Mission Beach. At 8pm we leave there and cruise the beach from Mission Beach through Pacific Beach, to La Jolla and maybe beyond.
Again, this is my first time setting anything like this up so any ideas, question or concerns are appreciated. Please don't hesitate to throw your awesome ideas my way. Thanks and see you all there.
Also, in case you're not sure which parking lot I'm talking about, here's a picture of it. I figure this one has the most parking.
